Hi everyone, I'm ML and 51 and struggling to get back to where I want and need to be.
I lost a lot of weight about 10 years ago, gained some back and then about 7 lost that plus again but this time through proper diet and exercise. I really got serious about eating clean, exercising and working out and followed it all religiously, very religiously. Somehow over the last year or so (maybe 1.5) I've let my eating slide, not completely horribly but enough to let about 15# creep back on. I continued with exercise but not quite the same intensity maybe. Anyway now menopause has completely entered the picture and everything seems so much harder. I've been following Chelle's blog for a few years and now am hoping to connect with others to find my way back to what I know makes me feel my best.

Welcome ML! I'm glad you're here! You'll find so much support from these awesome folks!! :-)
On a side note... one of the GREAT things about eating clean and exercising is the effect on our hormones! I was in and out of menopause for years, but as I traveled my journey to lose weight, my hormones balanced out and by the time I hit goal weight, I was out of menopause and FREE!!! No more night sweats! No hot flashes! No mood swings (well, hubby might disagree, lol, but he DOES agree that the crazy went away). Our lifestyles have such far reaching effects on our health, and it's nice to know that we have 100% control over our diet. You've GOT this!! :-) __________________ Chelle " YES!!
