Good Morning everyone! Gosh, I thought I'd never get back here.
My biggest issue is time management. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to fit it all in. I think I posted initially about a week ago and every day I thought I'd be back, but it never happened. But...here's to a new week! I did so well at the beginning of the week last week, but by Thursday, I was already back in my old routine of letting a little go here and there and before I knew it, I'm at the end of the week and I've lost all control!! That's why I'm in the shape I'm in! This past week it wasn't my fitness, it was the food. I still have too much crappy food in my pantry. Focus today....get rid of the crap I think won't be an issue for me...but then ends up being an issue for me. It's gotta go... The positive side is that I'm so happy to be back to moving my body. I've been such a sloth for the last few months and it feels great to work out. I've decided to start with just a basic beginner's bodyweight workout. I really thought that it would just be a simple kind of warm up (HA!) for the first week to get myself readjusted because it seems so "basic", but it really is an excellent workout! Another thing I'm "secretly" excited about it that my hubby is about to take our elliptical out of my workout room. I know that sounds like something I should not be excited about, but I don't use it (I'll tell that story another day) and his doc has recommended he NEVER use it due to a knee injury that he keeps exacerbating). I'm excited because it means I have space for a weight bar maybe? (Any suggestions?) Ok....off to get ready for another day of good health. Have a great day!! Terry

You're back and that's what matters! :-) You've GOT this! Getting the crap out of the house makes a huge difference - it's not exactly out of sight, out of mind, but it's certainly out of arms reach ;-) What equipment do you already have? I've got knee issues, too, and for me, the stairmaster is my go-to cardio equpment. Second choice is a treadmill on high incline. Either one won't allow full extension of the leg, reducing the impact on my knee. I used to love the elliptical, but it just kept getting harder and harder with the knee. If my inflammation is low, I'll use it because I like the sensation of running (since I can't, lol), but otherwise I stick to the stair-monster ;-) __________________ Chelle " YES!! I just wanted to tell you how FREAKIN PROUD I am of you....Forget about last week...... so what..... you stumbled a bit....we all do....But know what............. YOUR BACK, you know what you want to achieve....so make some small goals....get rid of that crap in the kitchen....empty one cupboard. Make a food pantry sack you will feel great with helping others who will look at these items differently than what we do. Take a walk clear that head and plan your next day....I make myself say something positive about myself daily. That can be a challenge in itself. BUT I NOW BELIEVE IN MYSELF AND YOU WILL TOO..... Know what....I also look at the steps I have taken and where I am today...sometimes if I look at the big picture it can be overwhelming to me... So i want you to embrace each day, each small goal, and know that we are all here for you!!!!
